Pay Your ATFCU Loan Electronically

Do you like to have all the power?  If so, take complete control of your ATFCU loan payments made from outside financial institutions. You can set up payments using either an external account or a debit card from another bank or credit union.  It will take a couple of days for the initial confirmation of an outside account, so please plan accordingly.

Payments made from external accounts and external debit cards will be posted to your loan on the same business day if the transaction is completed prior to 4 p.m. Central Time.  Payments made after 4 p.m. Central will be posted the following business day.

There is a $4 convenience fee for debit card transactions. Please be aware that the payment and the fee will post to your card immediately. There is no fee associated with payments made from external accounts.

Check out these step-by-step instructions on how to set up external payments via our mobile app or using the online banking platform.

Mobile Banking Procedure:

1. Login to the ATFCU app on your mobile device.
2. Tap the ‘More’ icon.
3. In the Lending Services section, tap ‘Pay My ATFCU Loan’.
4. On the new screen, choose whether you want to add an external account or use a debit card to make the payment.
5. Follow the prompts. They are similar to those explained in steps 5 and 6 below.

Online Banking Procedure:

1. Login to ATFCU’s online banking platform.
2. Choose ‘Pay My ATFCU Loan’ from the Lending Services Menu.
3. On the resulting screen, click the ‘Make Payment’ icon in the upper right hand corner.
4. When the next screen appears, select whether you would like to use a debit card or an external account to make the payment. Follow the appropriate set of prompts to connect your account or debit card.
5. Once confirmation is received, you will see a new screen that shows your applicable loans. Choose the one you would like to work with.
6. Select the desired loan and follow the appropriate set of directions below:
   1. External Debit Cards
      1. Simply follow the prompts to enter the requested debit card information.
      2. A confirmation screen appears when the transaction is complete.
      3. Please note – debit card payments can not be setup to recur on a schedule.
   2. External Bank Account
      1. Once your external account has been confirmed, decide whether you wish to make a one-time payment or set up recurring payments.
         1. For recurring payments, you can choose to pay on a monthly, weekly, or every two weeks schedule.
         2. Specify when you would like recurring payments to end. You can select a date, or allow payments to continue until you stop them manually.
      2. A review screen appears allowing you to confirm details of the payment. At this point you can edit or confirm supplied information.
      3. When the transaction is complete a confirmation screen will be shown.

Special note to members about Skip-A-Payment. If your regular loan payment is made via recurring payments from an external bank account, you are responsible for manually stopping the loan payment(s) for the applicable month(s).
